mbi Alert - Wal-Mart Update

Greetings!
Yesterday, Wal-Mart and MasterCard® announced that Wal-Mart will resume accepting MasterCard signature debit cards at all Wal-Mart locations, effective immediately, including any card issued by mbi.
Since February 1, 2004, Wal-Mart has been denying purchases when customers used signature based MasterCard debit cards, like the mbi card. Wal-Mart's decision to deny non-PIN based debit cards was based on a disagreement with MasterCard on interchange fees.
While less than 1% of all purchases made on the mbi Flex Convenience® card are made at Wal-Mart, we understand that the Wal-Mart decision caused anxiety for our administrators. Therefore, we are excited to relay this good news to you.
