Reporting of 2009 Child and Dependent Care Expenses by 1040A Tax Filers
The recently released 2009 version of IRS Publication 503 (Child and Dependent Care Expenses), reminds Form 1040A filers that Schedule 2 (Child and Dependent Care Expenses for Form 1040A Filers) has been eliminated. Form 1040A filers should report their 2009 child and dependent care expenses using Form 2441 (Child and Dependent Care Expenses).
